Well the car ran great and I got about 40 passes on it before I wrecked it. Here are some links of the pictures...

Saturday in the first round at Pacemakers my Diagonal Link Clevis Bracket broke. My car was totalled! I was lucky all my safety gear and the car kept me from getting hurt. The car barrel rolled 5 or 6 times and ended up on the other side of the guardrail (you can see my door at the top right of the score board).

I talked to some other racers after the crash and they told me they had theirs break too, but were lucky and didn't crash.

I was not so lucky, my brackets were not very old and I only raced about every other weekend. Ten dollars at Jeg's could save you a car or your life...

The car rolled about three times on the track and then jumped up and landed on it's top on the guardrail and rolled about 3 more times and one last time on the grass.

Right now it looks like the Engine, Tranny, and Rear End are Ok. I do have to fix the rearend, one of the axle tubes are bent.

Now I've started working on building a new car... A 1996 Chevy Cavalier

I plan on posting the build up picture as I go... Right now the plan is to build a tube chassis, strut, 4-link set-up. I picked up a VFN Fiberglass front end and I am starting to purchase the other parts. I also have the Strange Strut that I got from S & W Race Cars.
